    NGD ESP LTD ST203-pissed off with zzounds?????

    hey all so i get an early Christmas gift from my wife at the door yesterday and like a stupid kid im tearing open the box thinking maybe there's a charvel in here but being as that we are broke right now I was happy to find a LDTst203.I asked her where she got it she said zzounds on the 4 payment plan.Cool i says then i open to find a NOT SO NEW st203 in the box even though it was sold as new.to my surprise most of the strings were missing there are dings all over the body came with the wrong trem cover and has obviously been used.well ill let the pics tell the story.on the bright side zzounds took 70.00 off the price and sent me some new strings and the guitar even sounds good and plays like butter.needs new pups though.

    Sorry, but I would have sent it back. If I pay for something advertised as new, it better be new.

    Congrats, though...you seem happy.

              They are supposed to look like that the one little ding is just icing on the relic cake IMO
              I had one and it was a great guitar. Vtrem and singles.

                So basically he got a $70 discount for a guitar where the only thing wrong is missing strings.

                          me three. i got a kick out of this thread, but didn't want to say anything because i wasn't sure if the guy REALLY didn't realize his guitar came relic'd. still, a $70 rebate for broken/missing strings is a killer savings....
                          GEAR:

                          some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

                          some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

                          and finally....

                          i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

                              Congratz for the new guitar! Played one of those a few months back and loved it but ended buying... a MIJ Strat.
