  • NGD - Caparison TAT special

Thought i'll share this here since Caparison guitars are built by Itaru Kanno whoc used to build those amazing Jackson Professional series.

Sorry about the poor photo quality. I'll take some clearer shots tonight.

Wow, with those woods I like it even more. Big congrats.

I have always wanted to get my hands on a TAT to try one out. I assume they feel similar to a soloist, but I don't know.

Caparison is a great guitar bro!!! That think is sick!!! HNGD!!!!!
This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.

I had one but it got stolen last year. They're awesome guitars and yes mine felt just like a soloist.

Think of the TAT as a soloist 'carved top'. They're VERY comfortable to play. My first Capa was a '96 TAT 2 (similar specs to the SL2H ie. maple neck thru alder body wings) and IMHO its one of the best production guitar i've ever played. Try one if you can

Nice, I've always like the Caparisons. The colon prolapser headstock frightens me a little but I dig the features and they seem to be well built.

Thanks guys. They're indeed top notch. The playability on these things are simply amazing. They're still a small boutique builder, with Itaru involved in all the inspections before they leave the shop i believe.

They're pretty dear brand new, but you could easily score a bargain on the 'used' market.
