The Original edge trem just says "Licensed under floyd rose patents" on it near the fine tuners.

I just prefer the feel of the original EDGE. Fantastic trems...This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! Anyway, this one says "Ibanez" and "Licensed By...." on it. It's chrome, I think.
Is there a guide somewhere for the Ibanez trems?Member - National Sarcasm Society

Does this tell any of you anything? Does Ibanez stamp their bridges as "Edge," "Lo Pro," or whatever, or do you just have to really know this subject?
The Edge Pro tremolo will only have the "Ibanez" logo located near the fine tuners, no other markings on the top surfaces. Probably will have "Edge Pro" or just "Edge" on the tremolo block.
Also, did the body have binding?
BTW...I have also had problems responding.Last edited by Big Al; 12-10-2013, 10:27 PM.No honey, I have always had this Jackson....

I might revisit this thing on Saturday if it's still there. I'll research further about the fakes, though.Member - National Sarcasm Society

I think its not likely a fake...(although I guess I could really have no idea could I). If that JEM has the EDGE PRO on it I would literally be droping what I was doing and going to buy it immediately.....that's a pretty serious shredder and sound like a good score to me....I would love to own the axe....it could easily become a main player....-Now....shut up n play yer guitar

I'll also educate myself a bit further about fakes first. The price of the JEM makes it a natural target for forgery.Member - National Sarcasm Society
