  • Carvin Pickup swap

So I'm clearing out a lot of my gear and ended up with a lot of pickups. since I hate the tone of the w/b zebras that came with my Carvin I did a little swapping. I'm not sure if it looks better or worse then before.
But is sure sound better. Dimarzio super distortion/paf pro.

Of Course I can't find the olds pics.

I like it! The creme pups work with the maple board. I like Carvin pickups, but I swapped out the ones in my '02 SC90 also for a Super D and Super 2 just because I wanted more output at the time.
    Here's your old thread. http://www.jcfonline.com/threads/130...ghlight=carvin

looks good, do you have to drill out the mounting holes to direct mount the pickups?

yes I did. I had hoped to get around it and tried not to on the other carvin I have. It didn't work so well.
