Dog Boy, for some reason, your pic of the V didn't show up for me yesterday...Basically change yours to purple, and add a gold Floyd, and that's mine...gorgeous!

Since everyone was showing off their GMPs I edited my V in there. BTW are you going with a painted back or natural? Either way yours is gonna rock. Did Dan give you an estimated time of completion? My Pawn Shop should be done around the same time I suppose.

Dog Boy, I went with a natural finish on the back. When I ordered, Dan said he expected about a 6 month turnaround.

What are the specs on your Pawn Shop? BTW, i hope my quilt looks half as good as yours...that is one helluva nice top!

Thanks! Natural on your back will look great...I like it better than the black paint.

My Pawn Shop isn't anything fancy but it will be somewhat unique. Purple metal flake top, blank ebony board except for one large diamond at the 12th fret, white limba back (I might go with a TV Yellow finish on the back or just leave it clear coated), three piece limba neck with flame maple center, one humbucker and 24 frets.

Haha, when I was trying to figure out what to order, Dan posted a pic of Vivian Campbell with a purple metal flake top Pawn Shop, and I REALLY thought about going that route...Sounds like we have pretty similar tastes!
The one hum and 24 frets will definitely set yours apart

I ordered a 'DC' model in November '14. So I've been waiting for the guitar for 15 months now. Can somebody tell me if this is a normal waiting time or should I start to worry?

Send them a message and ask them for an update. Mine took less than a year, but that was 3 years or so ago..
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

Mine took a year almost to the day. Here's how it turned out. Great guitar but I think I'd go with a mahogany back and neck next time.
