              Yes, it is very nice.

As far as headstock name... maybe Seadog?

The head stock should read "Navigator."
This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.

oh yeah! helmsman is another possibility

I am going to leave the back/sides of the guitar natural ''possibly oiled'' to show off the wood and construction.

I was thinking some mahogany knobs and possibly even a mahogany strat style jack plate.... hmmmmm i wonder how hard that would be to make? Either full contruction or i could just veneer some to a metal plate.

                  Here's one i found earlier. http://crimsonguitars.com/gallery/conspiracy-guitar/

I just found a build log for crimson guitars.
Pics courtesy of the legend who made this awesome guitar and especially that wicked little jackplate.

Fuck i need to make one of those.

                    wings are on.

I had to take some serious meat out of the bottom horn. But i now actually prefer the new look and it reminds me of the rg550xh. I recessed the bridge and routed for a humbucker.

Next i need to start carving out the heel. :9:

Thanks, I tried to make a strat style jack out of wood and it exploded when i was drilling it out. So either i give up or try again? It would look good with black hardware so i am not sure its worth the effort.

The heel is coming along now.

It still looks a bit squarish but overall i am pretty happy with it.
