It needed another two 4 magnets for cavity plate loss insurance



I forged the zero fret out of some ss plate. This **** was solid as it took me a few days to get it to where it is and it still isnt exactly how i want it. I dont know all that much about setting up a zero fret so i decided i will use an abm nut to experiment with heights before i actually make a nut for it.
Not finished yet but you get the idea.

Its not setup at all but that didn't stop me plugging her in an blasting some tunes out. Straight off the bat i feel i may be on to a good design to accomadate the extended range. :9: Days like this make me smile.

oh shucks thanks. I always fuck up shit so dont worry too much. Actually i have to fill in the pickup plate mounting holes and align it center. haha.

I haven't got and strap mounts on it yet but sitting down it balance's well on my lap with no neck dive.

In bigger news i have a tracking number for my long awaited ibanez rg550xh neck simulators. They cost me $150 for the two and i have been waiting over 7 months. So net project will see some neck tones.

The flat fretboard is fine, all the crap i researched about people saying its hard to play chords on them and you will get cramps is major bull shit. I cant honestly think of one down side for me. So from now on in all my builds will have them.....

This guitar feels like classical meets shred, It hasn't got the slimmest neck but it is flat an wide. So that combined with the flat radius makes for a nice playing experience.
