Progress has been slow because i was playing the guitar for a few weeks and i have been building a website for myself.

I made a small nut shelf wall thingy, It was a bit of a after thought but it will be fine because the graphic will cover it.

I didn't really want the ''soviet union of russia'' running over the fretboard so i have changed my mind on placement to include Tokyo haha
Headstock, Note: You will have to use your imagination for nowMy pincers showing where the fretboard ends.

      ]12th fret

      10th 8th

My $50 gumtree lathe. No tools yet but she runs nice

The epic journey of furious thunder has begun. Headstock and first fret are glued and drying.

And guess what the guitar named itself.

This has been a fascinating thread for me. Again very creative, and awesome execution. Its been a blast to watch. When do you get to work on this, and for how long each day? Is this an after work and on weekends type of project for you, or is this your full time job?

                    Picture time

                    3 stages of sealing.

                    This is going to plan.

                      Fascinating stuff.

Fabric covered fret board. I just can't "wrap" , please excuse that, my head around that. It just would seem to me the feel would be really off. The body sure, but the fret board? I am really looking forward to hearing the full review of this when it's done. Again, you look like you're doing a great job.

Bro its not really raw fabric by the time its glued and sealed then glossed it will feel like any maple fretboard. It will be completely finished.

I did this with fabric and you can see its no longer lie material its a flat finished surface.I have done heaps ofstuff like this.

This is coming along now. I glued in the inlays and lave got the image down on the fretboard. Now its mostly sealing and sanding to clean it up.
