So the Carvin arrived today. Blue Mist Metallic top, Pearl Blue Metallic back, finished in matte satin. Standard alder sides/maple neck-thru with mahogany top. 20" radius ebony board with abalone diamond inlays, stainless steel medium jumbo frets. Seymour Duncan Nazgul with push/pull volume for coil split. This guitar rocks! The cell phone pics aren't the greatest, but I'll try to get some outdoor pics this weekend.

I hate to be the guy that points out the obvious Toe, but like the 23 fret colossal Jackson f-up, I think Carvin may have done it to you too. Ummm.... this is awkward. There is 2 extra strings. There I said it. Sorry man. I thought you would have noticed. You're probably still in that honeymoon phase everyone talks about.

LOL Thanks, guys! They screwed up and put too many strings and only one pickup!
I've been playing 7s for awhile and then got an LTD 8 a few months back (25.5" scale), but now I wanted one with a slightly longer scale, and this works great with its 27" scale. It's a blast to play. The color is awesome and, as shown in the pics, it tends to get darker/lighter and almost look green at times depending on the lighting.
