Congrats! Saw this on ss.org & didn't realise it was yours. Lots of Option 50s there, by the looks of things.

Really Nice, normally not a fan of Carvin's head stock shapes but it really works well on this one.

Sweet looking. Gotta have some pretty big dick beaters to play it comfortably I guess?

About 11 and a half weeks. My postcard said it would take about 8, but then after 6 weeks in, it was found in the paint department where my sales guy was getting me some teaser pics, realized they fucked up and had it routed for two pickups, vol/tone and switch, so then they had to do a rebuild but put a rush on it.

No, my hands are small to average, I guess. It really isn't hard to play, though. It takes a little getting used to, but not bad at all.

you only need the lowest fret on the bottom string to djent, anyway

Awesome Joe. If I ever order another Carvin this may be the model(6 string version) I go with.

Wow, that's pretty quick. I do like that I can get a splated maple top guitar from them. I've always wanted a guitar with that top wood.

LOL I can barely handle six myself! I've had a couple 7s for awhile, and my fiance saw an 8-string in GC a few months back, said she thought it was cool. I checked it out and also thought it was cool and manageable when I briefly messed with it, so I got one cheap off ebay. I was wanting to order a new Carvin 6-string DC125, but then I figured screw it and just ordered the 8.
