  • Ed Roman Restoration: Corsair Pinup!

This guitar came to us from a customer in Turkey. When it arrived it was a box of miscellaneous parts scavenged from old, beat-up Ed Roman guitars. Mike had a custom fret board with star inlays made, then installed it, fit the neck to the body and did a complete repaint. Don wanted a Warbird style guitar, but with a pinup prominently placed. This design was created just for him!

That's awesome! The new owner should be pretty happy with that.

I'm blown away that it has Ed Roman's name attached to it and someone still wants it. Great placement on the pin-up.

Only Mike could turn an Ed Roman guitar into something worth owning. Awesome!

Now, if he would only return my emails

So, you CAN polish a turd! Stellar work as always, Mike. And I agree with beachjammer- Corsairs were right up there along side the P-51D Mustang as my fave WW2 fighter plane.
