  • There's going to be a hole in my wall....GAS ATTACK!!!!!

After 27 years of ownership I finally sold my first "real" guitar. I bought this 1984 Gibson Explorer back in the summer of 1987 after working my ass off in a shitty pipe factory.
I worked all summer and paid for this and my text books for the coming semester.
I sold it because since I have been buying/playing Jacksons I have had no urge to play it and it is worth a good bit of money.
It is a real deal unmolested same model as Hetfield played except in black. I didn't play it for 20 years so I figured it was time to go.
I will be sad to see it go, it is like an old friend. I love the way it lines up on the wall next to my RR1, it looks great, but I don't play it.
Now what should I buy??? I am thinking a RR from the same era. NGD here I come!!!!!

That is a good thought. There is also a black San Dimas RR that I might consider.

That Explorer was cool, but an RR1 or RR1T would be nice. Or even a KE2.
