No and no. Its a revenger all round

To be fair, the Gates is based off of the Avenger/Revenger body and as it's one the more recognizable sig models in Schecter's line up, it's easy to understand how warlok might have arrived at that assumption.

Whew!! I thought I was gonna have to call you a dick..
I know nothing about Schecters at all but there's been a Schecter S.G. on craigslist here forever. Was a complete guess..

Ummm well to start with they are meant to be basswood but i really questions the bit of wood that runs through the entire centre of this?. Also the guitar is incredibly heavy.

I made my own picup quick change system using screw terminal blocks and some pcb board. Pickups are 7 dollar china specials but i jsut put them in there to get it going. My mate has pickup[s he will want to install once we trade.
I shaved the neck down a bit but other than that its pretty much stock.

I also extended the tremolo cavity so it can have a ofr installed at some point.

In other guitar news i will be picking up this 50 dollar ebay special today.
