thoughts on an Epiphone 1984 explorer

I've been wanting to try out an explorer lately and the Epiphone 1984 reissue explorer caught my eye. I like the look of it without the pickguard and the alpine white gives it a classic vibe. Unfortunately I have not been able to play one locally. Was wondering if anyone here has one and what their thoughts were. I'm curious about the neck profile and the overall quality. Any thoughts or reviews would be helpful.

If you can find a Made in Korea Epi explorer they tend to be great guitars.

I've got a 76 reissue from Nashville and I wasnt that impressed with the 84 episode. Unthought for a metal guitar the neck was a little club like but the emg's deliver tghgast compressed metal sound.

Explorer necks tend to be rather narrow with a round C shape.
Not a 60's slim tapered neck like a Les Paul.
I had a 76 reissue and really didn't care for it. Epi necks can vary in thickness.
