  • Stage Guitars

Found this one the other day and brought it home.
    Stage Guitars SC 396 model.
Made in Arlington Texas in the early 90's.
Love how the pearl white has yellowed over time.

    Made in Korea.
I had one of their bass guitars that I bought new in 1989.
The company was in Arlington, but everything was made in Korea. Had stickers on it just like the import Charvel's did.

        Thanks for the info R.J.
I had a neck thru JB Player strat that had a similar bridge and it was marked Accutune but this one is different on the inside and its not branded Accutune.
The internal levers and springs are quite different. The quality of the bridge is way better than the one I took off the JB Player.Still could be a different model by the same company.
The neck is one piece maple and beefy and doesn't look like your normal Korean neck (no scarf joint).
Awesome player and good tone so its a good quality guitar wherever it was made.
I believe these were sold by a company called Center Stage music which made acoustic guitars and effects pedals as well as a line of electric guitars.
