The TR route isn't USA correct. It's import, roman or the "outsourced" version.

I'll know more when it arrives.

I'm not 100% sure about that neck either, my thought was that all the slanted pickup body gunslingers came with a reverse headstock neck.

here are so more pics, maybe you guys can figure it out better than I. Not putting a pic of the neck plate up as it is a black blank one with nothing on it. And no, I didn't spend very much on it so don't feel bad thinking I sank a grand or more into this, not even close.

I'm not at the same level with BC Rich knowledge as I am with J/C. so any help identifying would be pretty cool

It's either a late 80s neck or a roman copy but USA spec. There were some outsourced necks they had that TR route but they usually had a straight cut fret board end like a Jackson. It's not import as they were spliced at the headstock like a crap scarf joint. The body is earlier since it has the smaller route for the trem springs. Doesn't mean they aren't original as BCR was slapping these together once their super strats started catching on especially right before class axe. You see a lot of oddball hardware and Boltons that just weren't as standardized as the earlier ones. Also class axe didn't have a wood shop for the first 2 years or so, they were just assembling left over Rico era parts which makes IDing BCRs of the era even harder. I've had lots of them over the years since they are/were really cheap and killer players. I still have a few and there as good as my USA jacksons.

yea i used to have a blue crackle paint job st3 USA that was kick butt had the same neck on it but I don't think I ever removed the truss rod cover during my short ownership period. but the back of the necks is identical.

anyone know who "Jonathan H?????" would be? there is a signature in the tremolo cavity and a "JH 88" in top floyd route. I'm guessing hes the artist who did the guitar.

everything on the guitar checks out as 1988, emg has a "HHI" date code. floyd rose is proper type for the year. neck seems to be original to the body as well.

Lol. yea thats partly true. if you say its for her and you buy another guitar after there is an entire room devoted to them, it sure does take the edge off having to deal with a new guitar fiasco.

Shes into Lita Ford and BC Rich so this fits right into that niche.

I set it up tonight and its a total beast, The EMG at the closer to mid set angle dose take some of the bite away from the low harmonics but it does give it an almost single coil Neck/Mid swagger to it.

                        I can dig it.

Pics of the signatures for anyone who can help Identify.
