NGD Carvin Custom TL60 Tele

So the story goes....wanted a 3 single coil guitar awhile back so I ordered my DC127 Custom. That got me thinking - how about a neck-thru single hum Tele? Why not! So I spec'd this out with the gracious assistance of Jeff Kiesel himself. Pretty cool IMO.
Specs look like this:
Candy Metallic Red - lotsa flake - really pops
Maple neck thru with alder wings
Ebony board / no markers - side dots only
Fixed bridge / string thru
"V" headstock with locking tuners
Carvin M22SD zebra pup
Volume pot
G & G case

Just a cool playing and sounding Tele. Gotta thank Flock and Jeff at Carvin for working with me on this. Hopefully you dig it...enjoy!

Thanks TJ....yeah I was told 10 weeks due to the very non-standard Option 50 "V" headstock and single hum on a TL60. They had it done in 8 1/2. No complaints there . It was the V headstock on a TL60 that I had to get Jeff's signoff on....cost me a whopping $40 for the option .

Nice. I don't see what the big deal was getting that headstock... they've done it on an SC90 and plenty of other guitars before. Probably the first time they've done it on a tele model, though.

Yeah, it was the "First Time" option blessing .

They've done a couple TL60s with Floyds, also, but they tend not to like to do them on those models for some reason. I guess it depends on who you talk to at the factory.

I think this is a good example of physically being in the showroom when I ordered. It was probably my butt-ugly frowning face when they told me "no way" that made them reconsider......
