Multiple early Wayne guitars w/same serial # is enough for me to avoid Waynes...nevermind he & his son Michaels penchant for claiming credit for original Charvels that Wayne had nothing to do with
I have an early one. Yes it has/had the same serial as another. I sent it back for warranty work and they restamped it. Based on my experience w them avoid, michael was a complete prick to deal w since the dealer dropped Wayne's line due to build issues and wouldn't help w warranty. The guitars were / are full of small flaws which their excuse was its handmade and you don't know how to maintain such a high end guitar. When it was sent back I ask if Wayne could sign it they said you have to pay for that I told them to fuck off since I had to pay to ship the damn thing. The warranty work was shity and I had a local guy fix the guitar properly. It plays great now, sounds real nice but considering the BS and $$ spent I wouldn't ever buy another and would say avoid them like the plague.
Want to read a complete work of fiction ? Read Wayne Charvel's book.
Wayne has been sour grapes about Charvel guitars forever and generally full of shit.............along with Michael who has a history shady crap, including coming out to this Forum to troll.
