James Tyler now has a Japanese range (James Tyler Japan). The Studio Elite looks quirky (funny headstock of course) but I really like the look of it (especially the Caribbean splash quilt model). I'm in the market for something a bit less pointy/rocky without a locking term - so I suppose the more traditional guitars I am looking at are Fender (possible entry level custom shop), Suhr (the classic pro, or standard pro) or something similar.
There is only one Tyler dealer in the UK (who don't have the Japanese models in stock yet), so before I eventually make the journey I would appreciate any feedback from those who have played or owned a Tyler - apparently the necks are awesome.
