  • Ibanez RG7620 , info??

Hello people of the JCF, I have noticed this amazing looking rg7620 on my nearby craigslist post, I won't state where however sorry fellas I may buy this if I make enough money for it. This guitar looks badass, my question however is about the neck, I've never seent his type of neck on the 7620's and is it a limited run they did? or is it swapped out, I really love it though. If anyone can confirm its originality that'd be awesome, thanks!!

Looks like it says "RG" on the tip of the headstock, which is normal. The inlays look too big to be factory. I am going to wager that the neck is stock with inlay stickers covering the dots. That was popular a few years back with some people.

On a whole, the guitar is nice - I had a fixed bridge version and was very pleased with it 100% stock.
    GEAR:

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

    and finally....

i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

Yeah, that's gotta be stickers on the board. Notice the cross inlay stickers on the Washburn Dime next to it.
I had an RG7620 as my first 7-string around 2002, and it was a great guitar.

yes decals. I've 5 or 6 7620's over the years , great workhorse 7s after a pickup swap.
I occasionally get gas for another from time to time but rarely even play my BRJ 7 these days.
If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?

              +1 decals on the neck.

If cheap, grab it. I own one and it's a keeper. I'm not sure but some earlier models had Dimarzios in them.

They were all DiMarzios made for Ibanez... called the Custom 7 or New 7 models. I believe they originally said they came with the Blaze pickups, but that was a mistake.

umm...i actually prefer the pickups in it to the blaze...just playing around maybe not...but with a dry tone and multitracking with them, they layer very very well...d.m.

I'm really looking forward to grabbing one sometime, I'm not much of an Ibanez guy except for the old destroyers, like the 555 (amazing looking guitar), and the Universe models, I really dig their 7 string stuff they do.
