Hello guys, someone offered me this as a trade stating it is a mean street custom guitar. The ones I've seen online say mean street custom on the neck plate but this one doesn't. Hopefully someone here can help.
I might suggest sending these photos to Mean Street. Mitchell would probably recognize his work. As far as the neck plate, this might be some of his really early work - before custom engraved neck plates.
Cool, hope it works out to be a genuine counterfeit of a replica of a mutt and not a faked mutt misrepresented as a legit counterfeit of a replica of a mutt.

My son has a mean street guitar that is a 5150 copy and it had mean street on the neck plate, but it isn't that great a build I don't think it would matter. I don't think if you want to trade I would worry much about its originality. It is not gonna change the value. If it was the Charvel copy that would be a different story.
