  • Kiesel Muliscale Vader 7

I never really considered a headless guitar.... until this.

Base price will be about $1300-ish. With all sorts of options.

I swear, Carvin is starting to do things really right with the Kiesel branding / name change. They're getting creative with exotic tops and backs, doing some really cool stuff.

Right now I'm having Option Paralysis... I can''t figure out what I actually want. Just something basic and gloss black, or go wild with the wood or finish options...

Go wild! If you get bored with it, you can always blow it over gloss black at a later date.

Carvin/Keisel seem to be knocking it out of the park these days, and they're much more easily available to those of us outside the US.

lol... well a no-option gloss black guitar could be around $1400... higher depending on options. lol A friend tried as hard as he could but couldn't build a guitar that cost more than $3000. Stuff Jackson or Suhr or any other maker would charge $5000-$6000 for.

But I priced out a few different specs and all my builds were around $1600-$1800.

Their preorder price is +$100 over their standard model for now with the pricing being higher once they're ready to start production. So tempting.

You can get $3000+ guitars from Kiesel once you call them and start requesting crazy laminates and other stuff. There were some guitars at NAMM the past 2 years that were $3500-$6000. It's not the norm though.

I think they saw an opportunity to start getting into that Suhr price range if you're willing to part with your money.

They have been very responsive to customer demand lately. They are finally doing the bent tops on the Vaders and multi scale.

I think it's a fair bit of both for me. I love the options. I love their wood choices. The build quality looks great. Made in USA.

Yeah, I know it's all CNC, but that's what's keeping the prices low. I'm ok with that.
