its got the stock Dimarzios, sounds great. & I'm not sure it was on eBay, seller was a pawn shop and had crappy pics and a crappier description but the price was right to take a chance. I just got lucky.

Awesome. So is the body neck also mahogany or just a different shade of koa?

I believe the neck section is Koa, Koa and Mahogany are very similar but the pores & end grain do seem to be more Koa like. Koa varies in color a lot, some of it can even be almost blonde, some is a lot more orange and some more brown. those are all Koa and the mock is almost the reverse of the eagle on the right.
