        Pale moon ebony. Or....the ebony that used to be left to rot because it's streaky.

                      Yes it's still all ebony but isn't pale moon from India/SE Asia (malabarica) versus Gabon/African ebony (crassiflora) which is endangered? I have heard about the efforts to use all of the African trees cut and was wondering if they are marketing it differently?
