Just got back my '89 Hamer USA Cali LE! Mike Learn finished up the paint in late Dec. and this beauty was shipped directly to a local tech I use for a re-fret with stainless steel jumbos. I also had a new OFR installed along with new vol pot, a push/pull tone for a coil tapped Murkat Special in the bridge, a SD Hot Rails in the neck, a toggle switch and some Dunlop strap locks.
For those who like a damned good p'up well suited to 80's shred and hair metal, be on the lookout for used WCR Murkat Special Floyd Specific p'ups! The initial ones made to Jay's specs are far and few between but they're worth it if you can find one. These things f-ing rock!!
All-in-all, this is the total package, a true rock n roll instrument of shredding mayhem. The OFR pushes this ax into territory previously reserved for my Jackson and Chavel Custom Shop stars.
