Hey fellow Jacksoneers, came across a Kansas (madeby Cort) Les Paul copy. Looks decent and claims its from the 80's. Only asking $200 for it. Anyone have any idea if thats good? Im finding very little on the web, and you people are my trusted source on all things guitar! Let me know!

Looks like you could buy them new for around $200
The first link has a thread with a link to amazon where it is supposedly a set neck, while the 2nd link to an old reverb auction shows a bolt on neck.
probably worth $100 (if even) and there are probably better options out there on LP copies. -
I think you are going to have to play it and judge for yourself if it is worth getting. I have no idea if this will sound like a Les Paul, if that is the itch you are trying to scratch.Comment

I have one and I’m not sure I want it. It’s only 200 but I don’t know if it has some special “magic” being from the 80s. Just curious if anyone knows that’s it’s a steal or just an over priced knock offComment
