  • NGD... again

Had my eye on one of these for a while, and got the chance to try one today. Couldn't resist, it's a cracking guitar!

Squier Contemporary Active Strat - it's actually the first Strat I've ever owned:

(sorry for the links again, I just can't get images to work on this site any more for some reason)

Oooh, that's a nice one! Love the reverse headstock and the HH configuration.

Thanks! I love the look of it. THe pickups are pretty good too - they're Squier branded actives, not sure who makes them. Will be doing a back to back with some EMGs once I get my other guitar back.

How did you get the picture to work? I tried loads of ways and all I get is a broken image icon :/

I just saved the one picture to my computer real quick and then uploaded it with the picture link that says "Insert Image". You might need a different image host like imgur or something similar to be able to have the image appear here, as I'm not sure Dropbox has that capability, but the links are fine, no big deal.

Would love to hear your thoughts on the pickups vs. EMGs.

that's cool. I'm not generally a fan of the big 70s headstock, but it really works in reverse
