Schecter "SuperStrat"

A local GC has a used Schecter SuperStrat style guitar. I don't know the model name. Anyone play/own one? How are they? What's the neck like?
They've had it a long time, but it's way high up on the wall - didn't even bother to ask the guy to get it. Not in a hurry for a new axe, just curious. Decent looking guitar.

That`s way over-priced. Most get $350 max in mint condition with a case. That one would be way less. They are decent though. Made in Korea.

Yeah, but this one is in GC Fountain Valley. It's like a seafoam green with a black pickguard. Forgot how much $ they priced it...

I did a quick Reverb search on Google, and while most of the examples I've seen have South Korean WMI serial numbers, here's one I found that is Indonesian, which surprised me. While I enjoy my Korean Schecter, I am not enough of a Schecter expert to know why they have some of these Sun Valley Super Shredders made in South Korea and some made in Indonesia.

After some preliminary digging on the homepage (https://www.schecterguitars.com/guit...super-shredder), I discovered two of the eight models are made in Indonesia:

The other six are made in South Korea.

I don't understand why that neon green Sustainer-equipped model is made in Indonesia, considering the specs on it and its black Korean-made sibling are exactly the same except for paint color.

It's decent, but I don't like the EMG humbuckers tone. As far as playability, I prefer my MIM Charvels & Jacksons over the Schecter.

I had that EXACT same model of guitar a few years ago. Same color, EMG's, everything.

It's nice for what it is, but it's no Jackson, Charvel, or Carvin/Kiesel.

Be advised, OP.... that guitar isn't a neck-through. It's a "set-through," meaning that it's a glued in neck joint that goes a bit deeper than the typical set-neck.
