Re: My Warmoth will be mine at the end of the month!
Wow. That looks like the exact guitar that Garver will have done for me either this week or next week or next week or the next. Identical, only I'm putting DiMarzios in this one. Creamy too. Very nice.
Re: My Warmoth will be mine at the end of the month!
What finish will it be when it is done??
Scott
Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright, that God may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong.
Re: My Warmoth will be mine at the end of the month!
Here's the Warmoth I just finished.
solid alder
string-thru hardtail
Duncan Invader bridge
Duncan 59 neck
chrome pickup rings
single volume
Les Paul toggle
Fender strat neck
Sperzels
This is one kick-ass heavy sounding guitar !! I was going for that 60's muscle car look. I even thought of adding a racing number near the forearm cut, and chrome ring tach near the controls just for looks.
Re: My Warmoth will be mine at the end of the month!
I think this one would look good in natural... I also like the white body/black pickguard look.
Tattoed Carrot, that's a very nice looking guitar too. Those stripes are kind of like those early Kramer laminates. My own Warmoth project is the holoflash in the pic below. It's a Warmoth body and a Trillian neck, both holoflashed by Doug at Trillian. It's hard to see, but it's got all-chrome hardware, OFR, JB bridge + Jazz neck, on-off-on toggle. Re: My Warmoth will be mine at the end of the month!
The reverse hockey guitar is not a Kramer, but a Warmoth body with a reverse EVH neck. The finish is indeed Holoflash...
I too should've used Dimarzios but I wanted to be true to the 80s "Kramer Vibe" so I stuck with SDs.
