hamer phantom

Can anyone tell me how the hamer phantom guitars are quality wise?Isnt this the guitar glen tipton from priest used to use back in the day?I found one in great shape with a kahler for $300.Is it worth it?Thanks..

Depends it sounds like a Great price
does it have the Three Coil Humbucker or the regular Hum in the Bridge
i have seen them sell for around $600 so it is a Good price if you want to pay that much

$300 is a good price. Glenn played the Phantom GT, which has just one humbucker, and a Kahler Pro..........

thats a great price for a great guitar. if it is a phantom i think the phantom was the later model & had a more extreme shape longer horn bottom was angled kinda, the prototype was the other & is more common not as cool looking. & yes that was the name so if its says prototype thats what it is its not a first run guitar
