Not an awfull guitar, but not so hot either.
For not much more money you could get a Charvel Model 2 or a Jackson DX10.. much better guitars.

I got one of these in black back in March 2000. It sounded pretty good, but didn't have the punch I was looking for. Alot of people say it's because of the slanted pickup. I got mine at $159. At $159 they are worth it to me. Good quality stuff IMHO.Comment

check musicyo.com for the price of a new one.
generally these are decent guitars. not top-of-the-line quality, but good enough if you're not used to high-end jacksons or similar.
I got the HSS version but I wish I had gotten the slanted pickup one because of the crowded control cavity on my guitar that makes it hard to re-wire.Comment
