I wasn't sure where to stick this since its not a Jackson.
I don't know if any of you remember but I was trying to trade my black mexi Strat for a Rhoads,well I got one.Its a Hondo(yeah yeah,start laughing [img]images/icons/rolleyes.gif[/img] ) Randy Rhoads Copy,called a Formula 1 Series.I tried looking on Google but I can't find anything on this model.Does anyone have any kind of information on this model?
I got it on Saturday from a local pawn shop,traded my Strat(without all the extras I had installed in it [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] ) straight across for it.
The electronics weren't working when I tried it there but that didn't matter cause I installed EMGs(85/81) in it the second I got it home [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
Its got a set neck and Grover tuning machines which I thought was pretty cool for a so called "cheap copy" and it basicly looks like a Rhoads Pro with dot inlays,but no Floyd Rose.
I wanted to stick some kind of Floyd Rose on it,it doesn't need to be a real one,I know some of you guys change out your import and cheap model FR for real ones.Do any of you guys have any extra FR or copy layin' in a parts box that we could figure out a trade or something for it? Would installing a FR be all that hard? It doesn't seem that hard to do,except the nut,that looks hard to install [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img]
Overall I must say I'm way happy with this guitar then my Strat [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]
