• The "First" USA BC RICH Widow HS guitar...added pics!

... will be in the house shortly. At least that's the claim of the seller. That, this is the first Widow headstock and was used as the photo guitar in the catalog pictured... and can be verified by Jason at DCGL and by Bernie Jr.

Well, I don't know about all this... What I do know is that this sweet, fully bound, ebony fretboard, bolt-on Warlock with Bernie Rico SR's signature on the headstock, and it is mine!

This is my first NON-Jackson USA guitar!

Just awesome, dude. It seems I'm seeing more and more no-inlay necks moving in around here. Just a solid chunk of ebony with some side dots. Yummy.

hahahah I saw that you were on that one! It's been around the block a few times on eBay and this time around I was tempted to go for it myself before I got the PRS. You got that for a STEAL IMHO! I think you'll dig it, I just hope you have better luck with those dang Quad bridges than I had! Don't you tune down? That's where I ran into Intonation problems with it.

Sweet deal regardless and post more pics when you get her! I'm anxious to see the backside of it!

sweet dude killer axe, bernie Sr's signature is a plus. Im not sure but i think the first widow headstock was on a widow or warlock built for Blackie many years ago. still a killer axe, also with the Quad bridge ive found they work much better, with the bridge as low as possible & raise saddles to get the action right.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Well, suppsoedly, this is the first one built, was displayed as the first Widow at Namm, and is the same guitar pictured in the two first BC Rich Catalogs as "the" widow headstock. It also comes with two catalogs and documentation on the reciept from Jason at DCGL, who certainly wouldn't lie, and out of all the BC Dealers, does have a LOT of custom BC Rich stuff in stock.

As for the quad bridges, never had any experience with them, but no, I don't do much drop tuning... We're tuned to Eb, and drop C#. So, hopefully it should work fine.

Very nice!I was in the market for a Warlock before I got my Beast and Widow.

I had Mark Brown Guitar Repair in Campbell set mine up...both have Quad bridges. They were able to set them up no problem. They said the trick is to use the small screws against the posts and back the bridge up a bit. That seemed to help to get a nice string angle over the saddles.

Sweet. Congrats. Man, I just love that full bound look. A RR would look killer like that!

Congrats, Xeno!! I took the description to mean the first Widow headstock on a guitar other than a Widow... as Warlocks had never had that style before.

thats phukin COOL. goodluck & i hope we have another BCRich fan now. what do u think of it so far.
i was wrong no biggie, you cant argue with documentation & it being a signed NAMM show guitar is pretty damn cool. I just sold a NAMM show ST-3 & didnt even know it was a show guitar till i sold it....jackass(ME) should have looked.

Actually, I haven't received the guitar yet. I'll post better pics when I do. I'm not sure that the claim is genuine, but if the guitar is as nice as it's claimed, only 2 string changes, then I'll be a happy camper.

Xeno, when u get it post what u think. im very curious as to what the new bolt on necks feel like. I havnt played any newer Richs & the last bolton rich i played was made in 87, very Charvel feel neck wise. Ide really like to know whether the necks are still like that or not. i think its funny that it looks like they are still using a different body templates for neckthrus & bolt ons tho.
