PWOAR
Me likey the middle one in that last pic.
I think they're fair nice. Id rather buy one of them than an Epiphone. But thats just out of principle
The black hardware looks good on the LP though.

I've gotta agree with Greg. Nice looking guitars, but by no means are they true "Kramers". I dig the old-style logo, though.

Gibson seems to be offering a few really nice value-end pieces as Kramers. It's disappointing that they're somewhat squandering the brand name, though. They should also be doing a real USA-made series, ala the original mid-80s stuff. And that doesn't mean drop the cheap stuff. Heck, Kramer had quite a few el-cheapo lines (...Striker?) back in the day. It would not be inconsistent with Kramer's history to have both nice and cheap lines.

You want a Floyd? Well the new epiphone Gothic Les Paul studio and the Explorer and V all have a Floyd Floyd rose trem. Of course it's black and a Liscenced trem too.
But it's there none the less.
A les paul with a floyd is just sacriligous and wrong. Even though Steve Lukather did it back in 1980.

Hey, maybe it isn´t that sacriligous after all!

Just out of curiousity, does anyone know for sure if ESP's Korean plant is making the Music Yo Kramers?

I may end up with one of these Kramer LP's, but the only complaint I have is that they are extremely similar to an LTD EC model. They don't really look like re-hassed Epiphones to me. I remember reading on the comments at the musicyo site where someone had wrote in about Kramer putting out an LP style guitar. This was over a year ago and now here it is. Hmmmmm. I got a response from some tech guy at musicyo after I had requested they ressurect the bolt on Baretta with one humbucker. He said they were in the process of getting it done. I hope that one is next. He said it would be in the $299 to $329 range. A Gibson style Flying V would be great. I would get one of those for sure.

Well, I really dig that "Kramer Custom"... I'd consider buying one of those. I don't think I'd touch a Gibson or Epiphone... go figure.

Anyways, if you want one of those with a Floyd, buy it and put a Floyd on it.

Not a bad idea, eh?

If they want to "Kramerize" these guitars, they need to add a Floyd. I wouldn't mind seeing that Custom with a black Floyd.

Nope. The 1984 is a near exact copy off of EVH's axe from the 1984 tour. I'm talking about the production model Baretta from like the mid to late 80's. It had a different contour to the body and had the slanted pickup and sharper headstock. The musicyo guy confirmed it would be an exact to spec repro of the Baretta if it actually happens. One thing it should have over the 1984 is that it will be less than half the cost.

How could it be half the cost of the 1984, if it´s gonna be of roughly the same quality?
