What other Andersons do you have? I recently tried out a Hollow Drop Top but it didn't end up sounding like I hoped. I'm curious how the drop top classic compares to a regular classic.

I have a hollow drop top (floyd), and a hollow drop top classic (regular trem with the piezo bridge). both have 5 ways, i wanted one with the switcharoo.

as for the switches, in the down position it will be the bridge pickup, the up postition you can use the other switches to set a preset if you will of any combination of the other pickups, which can lead to all kinds of sounds.

both have really different types of sounds, and can get just about any tone i want. I LOVE the pickups too, everything about them really. the pickups in mine (bridge) are h2+'s this one has the h3+ which is supposed to kill.

should be here thursday... cant wait.

You should try Suhr guitars.
They are great.
I have a Drop top too but I prefer my Suhr guitars.Oil finished necks.

i'd like to play one, but have never had the chance. I like the anderson necks, feel like bare wood, but are less prone to weather fluctuations like my bare wood guitars.
