<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Those are KILLER! My friend used to play in Brass Kitten - a VERY talented band that came out a few years too late - DAMN YOU NIRVANA!! They were compared to Skid Row and Wildside quite a bit - Steve was an awesome singer. They re-released some of their old stuff on Nightmare records. I highly recommend it if you like killer pop-metal in the Skid Row vein. Anyway, the lead guitar player had a couple winter camo Gunslingers with reverse maple necks and red numbers - I always loved that scheme. They were lucky enough to get a BC Rich endorsement. Steve had a killer Flying V - just a regular Gibsonm style body - red w/ binding - and the reverse bolt-on neck.

Those are pretty darn cool, Gary. If you ever get the itch to get rid of any, let me know!

        Chris

I don't mind the style you have, but I prefer the ones I have. It's not realy rare, but you just don't see too many - the Assassin neck-thru is not the most common guitar by any stretch...
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">its the only one ive seen in the flesh but there is only one bc rich stockinst where i live and they only stock the lower end guitars, i got mine on sale cause it hadnt been sold, i bought it ijanuary thus year and it was made in 99

Re: Got pics of my USA BC Rich collection!

that headstock was used on Assassins, ignitor , jr.V, & a macalpine model. i dont think it was used on the U.S. series which were crap anyway, they had firebird type headstock or the standard bcrich pointy. there were probably other models its was used on but i dont know since i dont really care much for Richs made after 89 or so.
BTW I have the 1996 BCRICH catalog & that headstock was used then.

Nice collection I've always wanted to check out a gunslinger but never had the opportunity. I've seen a few on ebay that I have considered before but not having played one, I hesitate to bid on one.

There's just something special about the way Gunslingers feel and sound. They're all good, but the good ones are unreal!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I'll second that! Slash - if you ever decide to get one, just make sure it's the older ones form the LA shop. Try to stay away from the Class Axe versions. They just don't hang by comparison. IMHO, the necks are soooo much like the unfinished J/C necks, it's scary! I love these guitars! If I was making a bit more and didn't have mounds of CC debt, I'd buy every one I could get my hands on...

                    Hey gitarguy -

I'd love to see the pic, but you have to make it viewable to everyone - there's an option in the photoalbum, but I can't remember exactly where. Right now I can't see it!

Jamie - yeah, definitely the poor man's SD. I don't understand for the life of me WHY they are staying so cheap! But that's ok - they can stay that way. I can keep buying them!

Chris yes i hope they stay that way after i get my projects completed, im going to be looking for a few. i miss the blue one already. hopefully i can find one with rare options or a custom finish since im not a big fan of graphics.

Bill that Nagal is very cool. IT LOOKS FAMILIAR tho, where did you get it. do you know anything about its history....im trying to think where i saw that guitar.

Probably in one of the discussions on the old board. I bought it off of ebay almost 2 years ago I don't know anything about it before that.

Hey bill - BEAUTY! I always liked Nagels, but could never bring myself to buy one when I had a chance - too "CC" I guess. Not that that's a bad thing... They are tending to bring top dollar these days - more so than many of the other graphocs...wonder why that is? I like the Robin too - was that on Ebay at one time? I remember seeing a really cool Robin w/graphic. I was REALLY close to clicking on the BID button, but I just can't do that headstock style. I like the Arbor with the skull pickguard too! I'm gonna do that with a guitar someday...I know WD still has those pickguards. It'll be my George Lynch "Tooth & Nail" guitar. I'll probably make that a Warmoth project one of these days.

Jamie - I'm more of a graphic person myself, so when that time comes, let me know. I'll probably still have it. Then again, I may just keep buying for a change without selling! That would be a new thing. I just LOVE these Rich's and can't imagine letting any of them go!

Yes Chris the Robin was on ebay in 2001 I actually got it on Sept 11 2001.

I put the Arbor together in high school 1986 still plays great, I only wish I had put a Floyd on it instead of a Kahler.

Chris no doubt, to me they are the poor man SD Charvel. I think they are the most UNDERATED guitars. ST-3s included
