I picked this up off the'Bay yesterday and the guy happened to be in my city and dropped it off at my office today. It's an American Series Strat with what appears to be a Duncan Little '59 in the bridge, the rest is stock. The paint job is pretty damn close to the original. Hopefully it sounds/plays as good as it looks.

Re: Just Picked This Up...
Stephan - I still want a 'Rocket Pink' one, and I try to look everyday, but unless I can really steal it I'll walk. If you see a steal - shoot me an email.
Luke, I played it for about a half hour last night. The '59 is much better than the single coils and gives a nice classic rock sound, but not as full as the full '59 humbucker I have in the bridge of my LP (but I can hear the similarities). If you only have a route for a single, this seems like a real nice alternative to a full humbucker. I haven't looked on this one, but I'm under the impression that the American series Strats are routed for humbuckers - so you may want to check yours and get the full on HB if you can. If not the Little '59 seems like a real nice alternative if that is sound you are looking for.
