I have a blue axis I got the first year they repackaged ther EVH as the axis....perfect blue quilt top, amazing sound, the best feeling shredder type guitar ever.....Quality is on par with any custom shop.....and I got mine brand new for $1050 from guitar center [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img]

I love the Axis - the neck is just perfect for my hands... I currently own three, and they're all sweet! They feel very similar but surprisingly their tones are quite diverse - I say surprisingly because the all have the same pickups in them, but the Sport is Ash, and the Super Sport's a stop tail, so I guess there's plenty of reasons for tonal coloration there...
