SAWEET..is that thing solid figured maple. its hard to tell because the natural edge & the back seem almost Mahogany colored. setneck? & what kinda pickups are in there?

Thanks guys! I figured it would be appreciated here seeing as though there are some Jacksonesque features on her. I must say that she sounds very different from any Jackson I have tried. I guess the scale length(25") had a lot to do with that.

The body is quilted mahogany. The neck is set, but very different than what you ordinarily see. Pickups are Duncans (Custom5/Alnico2Pro).

Chuck, I love the Custom 5. Great pickup! Warm and smooth. Lot of balls, but not too hot nor shrill sounding. I want to pick up few more for some other guitars around here. Much better than the JB to my ears!

The neck is sort of like the Les Paul Slim tape neck, although, it may have a tad more beef there. I sat down, and spent a bit of time feeling it out, and telling him where to shave a little off here and there. It feels great.
