Just got my Ibeenhad 7 string today.....

in Magenta Crush. Brand new with case.....$320 shipped.....its good to know people that know people that know people. I've already tuned it to ADADGBE. Has just a little string rattle at that tuning ,but, a set of heavier strings should fix it. The Ibeenhad 7 strings are much more gooder than the Jackson imports in my opinion. Now, I just need a 4x12 cab and a good pair of 6L6 tubes for my Mesa.-Lou

Cool!! [img]graemlins/toast.gif[/img] A couple weeks ago I got my first 7-string; an Ibanez RG7620 in Vampire Kiss. It's a very nice guitar! I've got it tuned standard BEADGBE with 10-56.

The RG7420 I used to have was great. Some of the best sounding pickups I have ever heard come stock on a guitar. The only bad thing was that I ended up with a slight case of carpel tunnel syndrome in my left wrist. I guess all that reaching was killing my wrist. Bummer. The only 7 string I can play without screwing up my wrist is one of the discontinued Squire Strat 7. I can still get one, I'm just leary of anything Squire.

I've got an Ibanez RG7CT that is amazing. only 24 were made, heres what it looks like, just like mine but my top is nicer...



amazing quality, no detail overlooked, has a rosewood cap for the headstock, really nice. proof positive that any guitar manufacturer can produce top notch stuff if they want to.
