Bling Bling -- It's Hamer Time! (pics)

I finally got some pictures of the Hamer USA Californian Deluxe that I picked up a couple months back. The info on it (which I got from some JCFers) is that the pickups are EMG SA at the neck, 89 at the bridge. The finish is "Gold Granite", and the trem is a Hamer-logo'd Schaller.

This guitar was rescued from Guitar Center for $275, fully functional but apparently not "cool" by current standards. It's a `91 and has a couple of dings on the back of the neck, but otherwise looks and plays great! Also, much to my surprise, the gold hardware has held up very well for a guitar that clearly got a lot of use.

Thats a sweet Hamer & in a unique kinda finish at least somebody rescued her from GC [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

neck dings.. take some super glue and fill in the ding, sand down the superglue flush with the wood, and you will not feel it at all, you will be able to see it, but not feel.
