Just got finished setting up my new Universe the way I like it and couldn't wait to show it off! The pics aren't that great because my Digital Camera HATES the indoors, but I couldn't wait until tomorrow to do my usual outdoor lake shot! heheheh

The Chrome Pick Guard has been replaced with a Black Single Hum/Single Volume just the way I like it. The hum is an EMG 707 which just DOMINATES! I'm amazed at how well rounded the pickup is. The Abalone Binding and Disappearing Pyramids look SUPER sweet in person but look pretty bland in these pictures.







I'm gonna go play her now! hehehehe

A lot of us,myself included,tend to dismiss Ibanez guitars,but you gotta hand it to them,when they do it right...

Thanks guys. I've always pretty much been an "Equal Oppurtunity" type buyer. If it feels good, I'll get it... Don't really concern myself with the brand. One of my all time favorite guitars was an old RG-550 that I used to have waaaayyyyy back in the day. Maple Fretboards rule!

I'm really enjoying playing a 7 now, but it gets confusing sometimes. Gotta relearn allot of large chords and stuff... Already have a few 7-string chord books on order! heheheh 1 for standard B tuning and one for Dropped A.. Should be fun re-learning everything.

Yeah, I hear ya about learning new chords on the 7-string. I just got my first 7-string a few weeks ago (Ibanez 7620) and I really like it. I'm also thinking about ordering some books. What books did you order and from where?

I have NO idea how good they are, but at those prices I figured it wouldn't hurt.
