I just noticed musicyo is running quite a sale on some of their Kramers. Neck thru 404s/d for $199... how much cheaper could they get?

I ordered the fixed bridge one.

IF your willing to put in some work, it can be a steal.

Ill post pictures of my heavily modded one soon, but until then...

The pots are cheap, the switch is already shorting, the nutwork is bad, the frets needed work, Paint is thin and quite succeptable to chipping. The pickups have NO tone under clean playing IMO. They are just weak and muddy.

But I am modding mine into a player [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

Not exactly a glowing review. I guess it comes down to what the cost is after all the mods are done, and what you could get for that price.
