What attracts me about the ESP LTD EC 1000 is the hardware and pickups they use. The looks of the guitar are also a plus. I've about the Agile, but they still look cheap to me.

Grab that GMP Matt is selling in the classifieds section. It ain't as pretty, but it will run rings around any ESP, I promise you that. Looks are easy to make. Really great guitars are not.
