Esp LTD M202 vs DXMG

The low-end Jacksons I've played seem to play easier and smoother than the ESP LTD's I've tried. Ultimately, they are probably comparable and you simply go with whichever one feels better to you when you play it.

Ive played the Jackson before but I havent even seen the LTD in person. Its hard to find any non strat or les paul style guitars around here. Im like the only one who has ever ordered a Jackson from my local shop. Everyone here is old fashioned. oh well. Ill just compare the 2 and then just pick one. I think the Jackson is cool but that headstock seems like I wouldnt like it after a while.

the only LTD's I have played were complete junk. I'm sure they make some good ones, but I tried 6 different ones including a couple of Lynch models, and they were terrible. I'm not speaking for all ESP's, I played a KH the other day that I thought rocked.

I have played several import Jacksons and they were all good guitars.

I heard rumor that KH has thinner neck profile than other ESP. Personaly I tried h201 or h202(don`t remember exactly) and found that neck is to thick for me. My Charvel Fusion Plus is definitely better...
But I think that ESP (ltd) is not bad, just not for me...

I'm not so sure that ESP even offers the LTD M202 anymore. It's not on their website. you can still get a M302 and an M100. the M302 looks pretty nice. but, looks can be deceiving. I think the colors of the LTD are better than the DXMG...but that's all it has going for it really, IMO

thanks folks. I was just going to get black anyways. Dang I didnt know they got rid of it already it just came out like maybe little und er year ago. Whats the difference between the M302? is that the one that has the middle pickup? I think Ill just go with the name I trust...Jackson.
Its like what 300-400 with a case over at Onlinestagegear. You cant get a better deal than that. Ive messed with one or two before and thought they were cool and can always do some cool customizing to them.

I have a feeling that costs more than the dxmg. Ive noticed that about ESPs site too. One half of the guitar loads while you wait for the rest. Thats not a bad looking guitar but the dxmg is just the total deal and its got everything I want.

there is an M202 on sale at american music supply. It's the one with the bubinga veneer on it. Kinda pretty. But not black.

thanks Drip. But Im thinking of just going for the DXMG. Its got all I want and the right price and a case. I might wrap it in duct tape or something to give it a custom design. lol. thanks guys

Esp LTD M202 vs DXMG

In a few months Ill have a little extra cash and was thinking of something cheap and floyd roseish to just mess with and maybe be a little rougher with than my other guitars. I was thinking black of course. Either the esp LTD M 202 which I dig the headstock and looks pretty cool over all, or the dxmg which is Jackson so it has to be awesome.
Anyone played both before? I jsut want something fun to mess with and beat up a little bit. Thanks folks.

I always try to try a new guitar but always end up back with Jackson. Im trying to fight the Jacksonaholicness but its too hard. Ive got 2 now and 1 LTD and I dont think I take the LTD out of the case. Ill hold on to it and try to sell it later and get another Jackson. But the dxmg sounds perfect. Through some EMGs or something in there and just mess around with it and have fun and not worry about scrathces and stuff. I want to do something cool to it to make it custom lol.
Dang Jackson they take all my money.

Why are you fighting Utopia? Just disregard all other companies. Jackson is the shiznit, end of story. Get the DXMG.

I tried but it is no use. Ive also been meaning to buy a strat for some clean bluesy stuff but still I go to Jackson. I should just realize that no other company is for me. Jackson is in my blood.
