Ive owned a Mcarty, a Brian Moore, and a JJ1, and this black Wolfgang standard is one of the best playing, and sounding axes Ive ever encountered. Simply FANTASTIC. Its the stop-tail by the way. Peavey is a terrific company, my first guitar was a $100 peavey patriot, and today it still plays as good as most any other axe. Wolfgang owners UNITE!

Re: My new Peavey Wolfgand Stnd.
Is that the one that is like black with no binding and is like the EVH but not as flashy and sort of just stipped down? I think I played one the other day, it was black and had that awesome maple neck. I liked it. How much do they cost?

I just checked out the Peavey site and I noticed the Wolfgang special EXP which is absolutely awesome looking in the quilt blue. How much is the Wolfgang special new? I cant find any online dealers where is the cheapest places to get one from? Dang yall for showing me new guitars. Ill never have money.

You don't want any of the korean garbage. a wolf special i think goes for like $700 new but are on ebay all the time for $400-$500. I bought mine for $400 and it's the best $400 I've spent on guitar gear.I've fallen, Fallen through. If I'm Not With you, All I wanna Do Is Feel blue

Re: My new Peavey Wolfgand Stnd.
The korean ones are nice for what they are, and many claim little to no tonal differences between the special and the standard. Im pretty sure that since mine is black it has no maple cap, but if anyone knows for sure Id love to know, its realy bright. I think its solid basswood though. YAO, thats an interesting coincidence, werent the patriots great little guitars?
