Hey guys,
I have this really odd Flying V in my posession that I'm looking to refin and maybe change the bridge on and I need a few suggestions:
Currently, this guitar has a vintage/fender style, non-locking trem on it. I've loaded it with 5 springs and tightened it down well, so I'm basically using it as a hardtail. It doesn't really suit the look of this guitar though.
I'm thinking of installing a flatmount fixed bridge of some kind, but I'm unsure if it would work, since the body is routed for a trem.
Then I'm also unsure what a good bridge would be...maybe a Kahler fixed bridge? Would they be compatible with the bridge height of the fender trem? From where can I get one?
