• Fender CS Relic?

what do they usually sell for. someone wants to trade me a 95 Fender customshop Relic strat, with papers & everything. Honestly im not a fan of Fenders or Relics so i would be selling it ASAP but want to know what its worth since im trading an old BCRich for it that i know i can sell for around $1500.

    thanks

What kind of condition is it in?

anyway a quick look on ebay shows several went for 1300 ish, several no-sells at 1700 ish.

I'd just sell the Rich. (why trade for a guitar you don't want?)

You may be able to get $1500 for it depending on its color. Pre Time Machine series guitars are unofficially known as "Cunetto Relics" after the guy who reliced them for Fender before they started doing it at the Custom Shop (pre-1999). The guitars are less accuare spec wise than later guitars, but many players prefer the Cunetto era guitars for their flatter fretboard radius and the look of his relicing style. Those guitars tend to fetch more used than a used Time Machine series. Custom colors (blues, tans, reds, golds, silvers) get pretty good money as the majority of guitars from that era are white, blonde, black, or sunburst.
