      Re: G & G cases

The G&G's are some of the best cases around (that aren't ATA). Check the gallery under Rhoads and see the blue lining in the case for the JCF Rhoads series. All std US Jackson's that came with these cases have std black fur lining.

Look at USA Fender wood cases. They are the same thing. G&G makes the best wood cases on the market today. They picked up where the legendary Victoria Luggage company left off making virtually identical cases.

I bought one from Matt(OSG) for my Soloist. They are nice quality cases IMO....
The one I got was better quality than the Jackson molded case that was damaged in shipping. I don't know if Jackson has different quality levels of cases, but I would trust the G&G I ended up with more that the Jackson case I got first.

I have 2 of them for my BC Rich's. They're really strudy w/black lining. I wish they had molded interiors, though. They are quite heavy cases though.

I have one for my Rhoads, the original case from back in the day...it has held up really well from the looks of it. It's heavy as a mack truck and bigger than my parents' coffeetable, but hey, you can't have it all I guess.

Hey Joel, I got it last July...1985 Randy Rhoads Custom, bought from a board member. It is indeed my first Jackson, and my first USA/San Dimas Jackson too! I really like it...pic's in the gallery if you wanna see it.

Boxcar...CONGRATS! Beautiful white RR custom...was that chrome floyd stock or was it replaced...it's rare seeing chrome on those early RR's. There's something about those early SD's that make them amazing...the feel and playability is unmatched. That's pretty much the best US Jackson you could get for your first one. Excellent choice.

It's not chrome, it's black...thanks man, glad you like it! It's got a little wear on it, but it gives it character...besides, I don't like really puurtty guitars anyway.

Boxcar...man she was sure looking chrome to me in that pic. Sweet deal man...black all the way. I actually prefer a guitar that got wear in it if I intent to play it often...that how my Warrior Pro is..dings, scratches etc...she's one of my main players now.
