Yeah, it's the pearl white finish.

    Here's a solo I did with it.

Troy, I think this guitar was also featured in a Guitar Player review a year or two back. The grain on the top was really memorable. Here's a crappy picture from their archives, I should be able to get a better one in a few days:

Edit: Note the light center stripe in the grain that runs from the bridge to the butt, and the darker patches of grain on the top and bottom...looks awfully like Troy's.

Troy, how's the middle pup? Does it get in the way of your picking at all? I've been debating whether to order 747 or just stay with the two-pup 727.

JimmyApollo: Sweet!!!!!!! Do they have the review online? I'd like to read what they thought of it. That's DEFINITELY my guitar because the guy I bought it from mentioned that one of the guitar mags used it for a review.

ToeJam: TOTALLY in the way. I just dropped it all the way down and don't use it. If I had a choice, I'd get the 727 for sure.

NICE! I absolutley LOVE that color!

No Floyd? What a tragedy. lol

KellyFan.. 7 strings aren't just for nu-metal. Yeah, Jazz players were using them a LONG time ago, and guess what? Steve Vai made the 7 string popular in the rock world.. and Korn were the ones who took the 7 string and turned it into Nu-Metal and then many people copied them.

Steve Vai, John Petrucci, Joe Satriani, Tony MacAlpine, Paul Gilbert, Rusty Cooley, Francesco Fareri, and MANY other amazing shredders are using 7 strings. Steve Vai even brought out the 7 strings for his new album he is recording.

7 strings only for nu-metal? Tell that to John Petrucci and he'll kick your ass.

I may be getting a DC727 before too long. How are the rounded body sides? Do they make the guitar slide around a little more when you are sitting? And how are the Carvin pickups?

                        Jimmy: Thanks for tha link!

Disco Dave: I haven't played sitting down in years... But I don't see any reason why there would be a problem. The pickups sound great! I'm actually gonna keep it stock which says allot from me as I NEVER leave pickups stock!

The rounded body sides are nice and comfortable sitting down... then again, when sitting down, I play in the classical position with the guitar between my legs instead of over just my right leg. Both my DC400 and SC90 have rounded body sides which I really like.
